The genesis of Reserva Conchal was in the mid 80’s, when a group of shareholders got together to invest in tourism in Guanacaste. They were definitely pioneers, coming to the region well ahead of any other developer. By the end of 1992 they had purchased all the land in front of Conchal Beach, 2,300 acres (930 hectares) of privileged property that are now under development.
The bougainvillea is one of the most popular ornamental plants in Costa Rica, and blooms in the summer in a wide variety of colors. These 62 Spanish-colonial condominiums were the first residences to be built at Reserva Conchal, bordering the golf course and facing the sea beyond. The Bougainvillea condos exceed all expectations of comfort, luxury, security and style.
The Malinche, or Flamboyan, is one of the world’s most colorful trees; its flowers bloom orange-red against bright green leaves. Around the Caribbean, native people use its unopened pods as shak-shaks or maracas. Malinche enjoys a beautiful Spanish-colonial design and offers 27 condo apartments and 6 luxurious town homes, called Villas del Mar. The Malinche condos command the top of a high hill with an unhindered view of the sea, the golf course and the Catalina Islands. There is a stunning Club House facing the ocean and private parking available.
The Carao or Sandal is a tall tree that holds a large canopy of curved branches with white pink and purple flowers. Here, these gorgeous residences, with a contemporary Guanacastecan design, lie along the 10th fairway and are divided into: Terrace Condos: 30 luxurious 3-bedroom condo-apartments with views that stretch over the green to the sea. Carao Villas: 12 spacious town homes facing the green, with 2 levels, 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 car port, private pool and a garden terrace that is perfect for entertaining friends.
