Hotel Arenal Carmela

The hotel is located in Hermosa Beach, Central Pacific of Costa Rica. It is one of the most popular Costa Rica surfing beaches, loved by the most renowned surfers for its amazing waves and just 20 minutes from Jaco downtown and about  50 minutes from Manuel Antonio National Park. There is a right breaking point that breaks everyday, only a FEW steps away from your room. Yes, perfect waves for regular or goofy surfers are consistently available all year round. The Hotel has 4 suites and 17 standard rooms. All rooms have a/c, cable TV, telephone, terrace or balcony, and private bathrooms with hot water showers. Suites include living room, kitchen, microwave oven and refrigerator. Food and beverage service is available at the pool and at the beach. Our restaurant lets you sit in front of the ocean, just a few steps from the sand, and is well known for its great local and international cuisine. Along the beach you will get to enjoy a lot of breathtaking points, like Tulin and El Almendro. There is also a wildlife refuge for the Olive Pacific Ridley Turtle. The turtles come ashore and lay their eggs from June through December. This is the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the quiet easygoing peace of this unique area.
